Urban authorities can use these recommendations as an operational tool to design, assess, and implement integrated, evidence-based sustainable cycle-logistics policies.

The Recommendations address the lack of coordination and knowledge gaps in urban freight planning by providing a systematic framework that reduces policy fragmentation and supports evidence-based decisions for transitioning to low-emission delivery systems.

How was the tool developed
- Draft of 10 reccomandations based on the comprehensive review and collection of existing sustainble logistic plans accross europe, combined with the development of policy frameworks involving by the results of SuCoLo
- Through a workshop with authorities from different countries and stakeholders, the recommendations were reviewed and further improved, ensuring their credibility (the process is described in D4.3).
